What "they" don't want you to know!

-
Many of the companies in town have been bought up by private equities or are part of national conglomerations
-
They are focused on profitability
-
The profits don't stay in the area
-
Employee buy-in suffers and as a result the customer experience suffers
-
-
The louder they are (advertising), the more they want your money
-
Established companies typically grow from referrals and word of mouth so be cautious of companies that have been around a while and continue to heavily advertise.
-
They are focused on growth and probably don't get a lot of repeat business.
-
These are the companies likely to try to heavily upsell once they get in.

Technical Expertise
-

Beware of the AI
-
Literally in seconds, we could have a website that makes it look like we've installed thousands of pieces of equipment, worked on some of the most difficult projects, and have a whole staff of shockingly good looking technicians helping grandma across the street. Don't get caught up in what doesn't exist. Nice job Caleb!

If it seems to good to be true, it probably is
-
People who are skilled HVAC pros are paid accordingly. If a "Tune-Up" promotion is some absurd price and you factor in the vehicle costs, the advertising, and the general cost of business, rest assured the goal is not quality service but a sales opportunity.
